ALSP02-Scenery Of Snow Capped Ama Dablam
Ama Dablam, often referred to as the “Matterhorn of the Himalayas,” is one of the most stunning and recognizable peaks in Nepal. Its sharp, soaring summit rises to 6,812 meters (22,349 feet) and is a prominent feature of the Khumbu region. The mountain’s name means “Mother’s Necklace” due to its long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother protecting her child, and a hanging glacier resembling a traditional double-pendant worn by Sherpa women. The scenery around Ama Dablam is breathtaking, with dramatic cliffs, rugged landscapes, and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Everest and Lhotse. The area is rich in natural beauty, characterized by deep gorges, clear glacial rivers, and vibrant rhododendron forests.
